Tomaž Berločnik

Tomaž Berločnik, an enterprenour, is pulicly widely known as the former President of the Management Board of the Petrol Group. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). Beločnik began his career at the Slovenian Development Fund, continued as the General Director at Donit Tesnit, and in 2010 became the CEO of Istrabenz. In 2011, he took over the leadership of the Petrol Group, where he conducted a thorough transformation of the company, expanded its operations beyond the traditional oil industry into energy and mobility. For his work, he received the Manager of the Year award in 2019. Additionally, he is the vice president of the basketball club Cedevita Olimpija. He believes in leadership with vision, innovation, and commitment. He is an active investor who believes in the crucial role of people in achieving exceptional results. He is a partner in companies Competo, Alfi Renewables, and AvantCar.
